A teacher and mother of three who has developed a passionate interest in cryptocurrency!
For the past 15 years I have worked as a special education teacher and have a Master of Arts in Education. So it’s safe to say education is my area of expertise and I have extensive experience working with children who have additional needs. I currently work as a teacher of learning support at an excellent independent school in the UK and have nice long holidays to indulge in my new hobby.
Upon first delving into the world of cryptocurrency, I found things quite overwhelming. There is just so much opportunity; buying and holding, mining, trading, participating in ICOs…the list goes on! I initially got involved in just one opportunity which, after seemingly doing fantastically for some time, appeared to come to a grinding halt! The lesson I learnt from this is how important it is to be diversified in order to effectively manage the risk associated with different aspects of the cryptocurrency world.
Of course, you can just choose to buy and hold cryptocurrency, which is a strategy in itself, but you can lose out if the value of cryptocurrency falls. I therefore use a kind of ‘liquorice allsorts’ approach to investing in cryptocurrency, with the aim of increasing the overall amount of cryptocurrency I have, and having a whole heap of fun whilst doing it. This approach also gets you using and transacting in cryptocurrency, and motivates you stay up to date with what is happening in the world of cryptocurrency and also to keep on learning.
Please be aware however, that with investing in cryptocurrency, comes the risk of loss. So please invest sensibly and do not invest more than you can afford to lose!
Please feel free to post any feedback, comments and questions on this website. I look forward to sharing your cryptocurrency adventure with you 🙂
